Back to top Synopsis

A moving story about a mother who, at the memorial of her son, remembers the times she met his lover Cal.

She can not accept the fact that her son is gay and Cal represents everything that she hates about it.

Their relationship is difficult and trying at times. The best scene is the one where people from the memorial release white balloons as a last farewell and Cal tries to connect with Andre's mother one more time.

Back to top Gay interest

The main character is a gay man strugling with the mother of his dead partner.

Back to top Personal review

This is a very good story, great script, excellent camerawork and with exceptional acting. One of my absolute favourites !
