Missy (Cynthia Nixon) is a successful Soho video artist whose work reveals a harsh but fashionable cynicism that is also reflected in her relationships with men.
Missy avoids emotional intimacy by sleeping with Suit (John Tenney), a successful, married Wall Streeter who methodically schedules their weekly trysts in his Filofax, sandwiching them between his board meetings.
Her best friend Spaz (Andy Dick), is larger than life, gay, failed performance artist who, in spite of himself, has become the most "in" caterer for society bashes.
Spaz's current "regular" is Brat (Tim Olyphant), a bisexual, Harley riding, struggling actor from New Jersey.
Missy gets her chance, conveniently enough, when Spaz offers Brat to her as a casual sex partner, an arrangement that quickly develops into a more emotionally involved relationship. |
